THE
PACE
COLLECTION
Growing up is something that none of us can escape.
As I passed my 20th birthday, I found it a surreal experience, marking the end of my teenage years and the beginning of a new chapter. It's a time of transition, where the nostalgia of childhood lingers while the weight of adulthood settles in. I feel torn between the desire to keep my inner child alive and the pressure to live up to the expectations of others, meet personal goals, and strive for more.
You need to be prepared for the world out there, build a suit of armor to survive in this race. That’s what life is like, right? Like a race.
Everyone starts from a different position on the grid, determined by the circumstances they were born into. After the start, the first corner of the race, the most pivotal moment, represents your upbringing and education—your foundation, the moments that shape you for the rest of your life. The first few laps around the circuit are often the fastest: your childhood, which passes just as fast as it has begun. But the hardest part of the race comes after that: staying consistent, not falling behind, and finding the strength to push forward when the road gets tough. Along the way, there are moments when you need a pit stop—a pause to change the tires, reflect, regroup, and adjust your strategy. But remember: Even as the race leader, success is not guaranteed. A crash can happen anytime, even in the last corner. Whether it was a driving error or a technical failure, you will end up stranded in the gravel either way.
No one can predict how the race will unfold. If you win, the trophy is yours, but soon enough, you'll have to prepare for the next race, where a fresh challenge awaits—like being reborn.
Even if it’s hard to admit, life often feels like a competition—whether within your family, friendships, career, or even in love. In those moments of conflict, being prepared allows you to fully appreciate the moments of joy that follow.
This collection is a visual representation of the race of growing up. Each outfit symbolizes a different stage, reflecting the internal and external struggles we face as we navigate life’s journey. The recurring motif of armor, inspired by protective racing gear, ties the collection together, serving as a visual reminder of the strength we build along the way.
