As I gathered inspiration from my childhood home, browsing through old photo albums and VHS tapes, a wave of nostalgia washed over me.
Even the footage from my parents’ wedding, their honeymoon, and the first four years of my sisters' life—before I was even born—gave me a profound sense of comfort. Growing up, I often thought our life was rather dull: a small town in Germany, a peaceful neighborhood, and a modest house with a tiny garden. Going to a normal kindergarten, a normal school, a normal high school. Life seemed predetermined, but life is full of surprises.
