These gloves, little sisters of ‘The Sleeves’ are completely handmade and very special to me. Crafted from 100% mercerized cotton, they are not only sustainable but also exceptionally soft, making them a luxurious yet comfortable option to wear. The mercerization process enhances the cotton, giving it a smooth finish and a subtle sheen, while ensuring long-lasting durability. The gloves’ unique design features a delicate loop around the middle finger, adding an elegant touch to the overall aesthetic. The cuff of the gloves offers versatile styling options—it can be folded upwards along the arm or folded back towards the hand for a layered feel. Regardless of how you wear them, the ‘Maze’ tag remains visible, adding a subtle signature detail.
To ensure a secure fit at the wrist, each glove is fastened with two small, iridescent cream-colored buttons on the inside. This thoughtful detail enhances the gloves’ refined look while also ensuring they stay comfortably in place.
The gloves are crocheted in a triangular pattern I discovered in my great aunt’s crochet book, which holds a deep, sentimental value for me. Having been taught to crochet by my mom during my childhood, this craft is something that will always be close to my heart. It’s incredibly special to me that crochet is a process that cannot be replicated by machines. It requires patience, skill, and a personal touch that makes each pair of gloves truly one-of-a-kind.
